What To Expect From Manatee Tours
Arrival at Manatee Tours
This is where the fun begins! We love to host our guests and provide them with an amazing experience full of FUN!! Once you arrive at our facility you will be checked in and sized up for wet suits and then begin the process of watching manatee manners. We will go over all safety and the do’s and don’t’s with your party. Then we will load you up and take you to the boat.
Boarding the boat
Now we getting to the part where Fun meets Nature! Once you have arrived at the boat we will provide instructions and also be sure to tell lots of funny stories and interesting facts about our manatees and our beautiful Crystal River. Providing you with a mask and snorkel, we have you covered for everything you will need to enjoy your manatee experience. We are always attentive and will answer any questions you may have along the way.
Getting in the water
You and your party will be escorted by a professional water guide and photographer who will stay with you the entire time in the water. The guide will take pictures and also help you to have an amazing experience as you passively observe the magnificent manatees. Swimming with manatees is an experience that you will never forget!
Back on the boat
Once you have finished the in-water portion of the trip you will once again board the boat. Keep in mind we offer enclosed heated boats to warm you up after you have been in the water. We will also provide you with complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and water as we continue on our stroll through the bay.
Return to facility
Once you arrive back at the facility you will have an opportunity to view your pictures and purchase them if you wish. Feel free to stick around and browse our gift shop.
